The Bude XL is based on our popular Bude model. This variation is based on a LWB chassis which allows for a different kitchen layout.
This Bude XL started life as a LWB T6 work van with barn doors and an internal bulkhead.
The van had been ply-lined, protecting the internal bodywork of the van.
The van was stripped down and the windows and roof were cut out. This vehicle also had it's barn doors removed for a tailgate upgrade. The vehicle was double insulated and then ply lined and carpeted.
As with the standard Bude, this model has a reverse pop-top roof to give improved headroom to the rear of the camper where the kitchen is fitted.
The front of the cabin offers multiple seating options with swivel front seats and sliding back seats. This conversion had upgraded upholstery finished in grey leather. A table can slot into the floor between the seats to create a dining area.
The seats can then be folded flat to provide two single beds....
...or they can slide together to become a double bed as well as the space in the pop-top roof for a further double bed.
In the rear of the cabin, there is a well proportioned kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, gas oven and hob as well as a sink and pop up power sockets.
On the other side, there is a low voltage fridge with ice box, more drawers and cupboards, a wardrobe with front and top access as well as a further seat.
The seat folds away to reveal a fully fitted cartridge toilet system with electronic flush.
With blackout blinds (or curtains), plenty of LED lights and a diesel heater, this camper is very cosy at night too.
