A Truly Unique Conversion

Nick Berry and his partner Rachael brought their black VW T6 to VW Worx for a truly original conversion.

Nick wanted to be able to use the van for his work but also be able to quickly convert it into additional sleeping accommodation for his children when he went away camping.

We fitted opening side windows and fully insulated the van. The bodywork was lined with a black 3 way stretch carpet and the roof was lined in light grey.

The unique thing about this fit out is the hard wearing finish, Nick wanted an Oak look panelling and a hard wearing patterned flooring. Easy to clean and making a statement. Touch sensitive LED lights were fitted to the roof panel.

A bulkhead board means that Nick can use the van for work and a bed can be put in when using it for camping. We loved Nick's ideas, it really has made for a unique conversion.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2019

After a couple months of using the camper with a temporary bed, Nick brought it back to VW Worx to have a large full width Rock'n'Roll bed fitted with storage underneath.

Not only does this Rusty Lee Rock'n'Roll bed make a huge double bed but it also means that Nick can safely carry a further 3 passengers in the rear when travelling.
